Text Inspired by the Accordion and the Armadillo, the national animal of the State of Texas, we translated their natural appearance and the performative aspect of their bodies into a clean lined transformable pavilion. We approached the requirement of the gallery of being adaptable to different sizes by looking at existing examples of things and animals that change in size by bending and stretching. armadillo, how it transforms and adapts it´s body. accordion, it generates music by it´s bending ability. We translated this thinking of the TOGS as an element that adapts to it´s medium and brings something to it. The connection of life (nature) with art (objects) generating different sensations, emotions and experiences. A space that houses art bringing inspiration by being open to its appreciation.
